Principal Technical Manager - Inland Salinity

About You

You will be experienced  in leading and managing diverse technical teams with a strong delivery focus.
You will deliver strategic and technical works critical to informing risks and timescales for mitigation measures. 
You will take a lead on the development and implementation of short term measures whilst also leading on the feasibility design of longer term infrastructure based solutions.

About The Role
To lead a team of technical staff to deliver the Coal Authority's Inland Saline Mine Water Strategy including;
- to lead the investigation and assessment of the risk and impact from inland saline mine water on nationally important mine waters.
- work with regulators and other partners to develop and prioritise short and long-term solutions to control the impact of saline mine waters.
- identify, agree and implement opportunities to provide innovative, sustainable solutions to catchment and infrastructure-based solutions which enhance value for money.
Role location: Hybrid/Mansfield
