Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer–  FM Service Provider – Landlord Contract - Canary Wharf - £42,000

CBW is currently recruiting for an Electrical or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to cover only the landlord area in Canary Wharf.

The successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically qualified and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

In return, the company is paying a competitive salary of up to £42,000, further training and career progression.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
• Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
• Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
• Monitor mechanical plant
• Chillers
• Cooling Towers
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Capable of undertaking Reactive Repairs with minimal supervision.
• CHP / Biomass & Air Conditioning experience an advantage.
• Monitor the BMS systems
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist sub-contractors

• Monday to Friday - 08:00 am -17:00 pm
• £42,000 per annum
• Overtime available  
• Company Van - provided for Call out 
• 1 in 5 call out  

• City and guilds electrical to mechanical conversion, OR mechanical to electrical conversion, (1 week)
• 3.5 day swimming pool technical operators course
• LV AP training – Electrical bias staff
• Mechanical AP training – Mechanical bias staff
• IOSH working safely
• Water hygiene awareness
• Working at height (3-day)

• Electrically or mechanically qualified to Level 2 & 3 or equivalent
• Full UK driving license 
• Experience on a single man site (Preferred)
• Positive attitude
• Multi-Skilled
• Good communication skills
