This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and focused Mechanical Design Manager to join our busy Operations team.

We are currently looking for an individual who wants to continue to develop and be challenged.

They will be responsible for the management, development, implementation and presentation of design proposals.

The right applicant will have experience of the MEP sector.

The Role
Working closely with the Operations Director you will manage the development of design briefs and agreeing scopes.

Preparing and submitting design tenders ensuring approval of the client's requirements including budget, finance and time targets.

Taking the lead on client liaison role with the client, consultants and sub-contractors from the design proposal through to design and construction of MEP packages.

You will make sure client specifications are met and check the quality and competence of any design terms or 3rd party.

Requirements

Essential
, Experience within the MEP sector
, Commercial awareness and understanding of commercial risks
, Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
, Outstanding attention to detail
, Client facing

Desired
, Relevant experience or qualified at HNC Level or higher
, An overall strong building knowledge

Salary
Up to £70,000 pa plus benefits
