Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – Iconic Building - Central London - up to 52K

One of the established names in the commercial building maintenance industry is looking to recruit a maintenance supervisor to look after a large iconic building in Central London.

The building is one of the most recognised and well known buildings in the Central London with a mix of both historic and modern day architecture and technology. 

They are looking for a maintenance supervisor to work very closely with the management team to provide a first class customer service and be able to organise, manage and motivate their engineering team.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8-5 and the main duties of the role will be managing the planned and reactive maintenance schedules, attending client meetings, compiling reports, supervision of staff and managing sub-contractors.

Applicants for this role must be able to meet the following criteria:

• Recognised apprenticeship and fully electrically or mechanically qualified to recognised level ie C&G, HNC/HND.
• Proven experience and involvement in managing engineering teams.
• Ideally previous experience of working within listed or historic buildings.
• A strong and committed team player capable of prioritising and solving problems often under pressure, utilising innovative solutions.
• Must be a team player committed to working in a quality and professional environment.
• Strong people management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
