Caretaker

Caretaker – Neath – FM Service Provider - £10.42 per hour

Exciting opportunity for a Caretaker to work for an established company situated in Neath.

CBW are currently recruiting for a Caretaker to be based in a commercial building.

The successful candidates will have a proven track record in Caretaking within a commercial building.

 

Shifts & Hours of Work

Monday to Friday (weekends off)

07:00am - 15:00pm or 10:00am to 18:00pm

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Under the supervision, working as part of a team on site to complete basic cleaning tasks such as:
• Carry out day-to-day maintenance and minor repairs.
• Book outside contractors for major repair work.
• Make sure heating, lighting and alarm systems are working properly.
• Check doors and windows are locked when the building is not in use.
• Open buildings in the morning and lock them at the end of the day.
• Assess medical needs.
  
  Checking on your senior loved one's health is an important caregiver responsibility.
• Prepare a care plan.
• Assist with basic needs.

• To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
• Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices
• To always act in a professional manner
• Be honest, reliable, and hard working
• Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
• Be eligible to work in the UK
