Automation Engineer-Leeds-Up to £40,000 DOE

CBW has an excellent new opportunity for an experienced engineer to join a leading FM company on a permanent basis.

This position is based in a prestigious static site in the Boston Spa area.

You will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the conveyor systems on the site.

You must come from a relevant mechanical/electrical
background and come from an commercial background. Below are all the details on this position!

Hours:

08:00-17:00

Key responsibilities:

• Resetting faults
• Changing bands on rollers
• Replacing small motors
• Releasing stuck skips
• Day-to-day running of MBHS system operations.
• Carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance works.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Maintaining and modifying equipment to ensure it is safe, reliable and efficient.
• Replacement and installation of mechanical and electrical components including rewiring.
• Supervising external projects and coordinating contractors.
• Fabrication and installation of safety equipment.
• Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained to company standards.

• Mechanically qualified level 2 (C&G, NVQ etc)
• Experience working on MBHS systems
• Experience working on PLC systems.
• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer skills 

• Basic salary of up to £40,000 DOE
• 25 days plus bank
