Sirona Medical are looking to recruit a selection of Oncology Pharmacist located in Edinburgh.

Job Role: This particular role is based within Edinburgh.

The Oncology Pharmacist will be expected to help on  support our oncology deliver service.

Ideally the candidate will also pick up general pharmacy tasks if timetable allows.

Although we require 3 days per week (Tues-thurs) I appreciate that the position may only be attractive for a candidate who requires full time hours so would accept that with the candidate supporting general pharmacy duties.

Sirona Medical will be providing the Pharmacy teams also so you will be supporting patients seen by Sirona Medical staff and therefore be working as a team.
The role is  Tuesday to Thursday 8.00 am - 4.00 pm.

As a Oncology Pharmacist , you must have a minimum 6 months solid experience in an NHS Establishment or private sector.


You will be required to accept responsibility, with support and direction to effectively manage a client caseload with associated specialist support needs.
To ensure that appropriate and up-to-date client records/files and computer information system is maintained and kept with due regard to confidentiality.
To act in accordance with GPC registration requirements and Code of Conduct for exercising accountability and professional practice.



To undertake clinical procedures appropriate to client care and maintain clinical competency through regular updates.
With support and direction, be responsible for co-coordinating an agreed care plan and, where appropriate, to implement and evaluate agreed action, including direct work with some users.


This Job will be busy and fast-paced, you will be expected to work in a calm and effective manor, as well as communicate well with other members of staff and patients alike.

Previous experience and/or qualifications in Pharmacy are essential to apply for this role.
