An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist to work in a reputable, exceptional private hospital based in the South Kensington, London area.

As the Physiologist your key responsibilities include:



  • Working with the Lead Cardiac Physiologists, the post holder will assist in the running of all present services provided by the Cardiology Laboratory

  • The post holder will support in the delivery of a high quality, efficient service to patients and to supervise, guide and support staff in performance of their roles in the department

  • Work as an independent practitioner in permanent pacemaker follow-up and implants

  • Work independently and you will also be expected to participate in the training and appraisal of junior staff



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • At least one certification for Electrophysiology and CRM: British Society Heart Rhythm for Cardiac Rhythm Management Devices or Electrophysiology/International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners for Certified Electrophysiology Specialist or Certified Cardiac Device Specialist/European Heart Rhythm Association certified cardiac device specialists

  • Extensive and current expertise in Interventional Procedures and Invasive Arrhythmia Therapies

  • Knowledge and experience of advanced and highly specialised procedures acquired through accredited courses

  • Able to perform a range of specialist diagnostic investigations on patients in a variety of clinical settings

  • Ability to think quickly, assess complex clinical situations and make decisions upon that information

  • Understanding of legal responsibilities within the role



The successful Physiologist will receive an excellent salary up to £58,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
