Drainage Engineer - London

Position Overview:
As a Drainage Engineer, you will play a vital role in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing drainage systems within the London metropolitan area and Home Counties.

You will be responsible for diagnosing drainage issues, implementing effective solutions, and contributing to the overall functionality and performance of drainage networks.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting thorough inspections of drainage systems to identify issues, blockages, and potential areas of concern.
Performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, flushing, and repairing drainage systems to prevent blockages and ensure optimal functionality.
Collaborating with team members to analyse complex drainage problems and develop appropriate solutions.
Operating a variety of drainage equipment and tools to carry out maintenance and repair tasks effectively.
Documenting all work performed, including assessments, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Providing exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Adhering to health and safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Drainage Engineer or in a similar role is highly preferred.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing drainage systems, including knowledge of various equipment and techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in assessing drainage issues.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with clients and team members effectively.
Understanding of health and safety regulations and the importance of compliance.
Valid driver's license and the ability to travel across London and the Home Counties.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in drainage engineering or related fields would be advantageous.
