Cleaning Supervisor

Temporary Cleaning Supervisor – Broughton, Flintshire- FM Service Provider - Up to £12.50 per hour 

Exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisors to work for an established FM Service Provider situated in Broughton, Flintshire.

CBW is currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to be based in a large commercial building.

The successful candidates will have a proven track record working as a Cleaning Supervisor.



Working Hours: 

7:00am - 19:00pm - 4 days on 4 days off

Team of 10 - 15 cleaners & working closely with the Cleaning Manager

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Required to clean to cover staff shortages.
• Responsible for ensuring that the site is consistently in a clean state and all waste management activities completed.
• The supervision of cleaning team and any additional temporary staff, managing a daily/monthly/annual staff rota
• Ensure that there is adequate staff cover.
  
  In consultation with the Head of Cleaning, recruit agency cover, where required, managing the administration of the agency.
• In consultation with the Head of Cleaning, set and manage objectives, appraisals, and training of cleaning personnel on site.
• In consultation with the Head of Cleaning, manage any capability, disciplinary issues, and HR issues.
• Hold monthly team meetings to discuss and review relevant cleaning matters.
• Carry out daily cleaning inspections of site ensuring that any actions you pick up are addressed with the cleaning members.
• Ensuring checks are fully auditable and Risk Assessments are adhered to.
• To carry out other duties as required by the Head of Cleaning.
• Coordinate with other departments such as facilities maintenance to ensure that all cleaning needs are met.
• Schedule work crews to ensure that all tasks are completed within timeframes specified by management.
• Monitor and assist in planning work requirements for bi/quarterly, annual cleaning
• Undertake training in use of methods, materials, and equipment, as instigated by the Head of Cleaning
• Health and Safety Policy in relation to the duties of the post, and always give due regard to the health and safety of both them and others when carrying out their duties.

• Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
• Previous experience of supervising operations in a demanding environment
• Customer service focused
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and applications of relevant standards and legislation such as COSHH, risk assessment, hygiene standards and health & safety management
