Mechanaical Maintenance Engineer

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - FM Service Provider - Enfield, London - Temp to Perm 

CBW is working with a leading maintenance contractor that is looking to add an additional Engineer who is experienced in HVAC Service to join their team.

The client has a strong portfolio of blue-chip clients throughout the UK.

You will be the go-to person for any Mechancail issues across a critical site in Enfield, London.



Key Responsibilities:

Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
AHU's/FCU's – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
Pumps – PPM's or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
Motors – PPM's (re-winds, overhauls)
Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
Water pressurization units
Chlorifiers – annual inspection, de-scaling
Steam Plant
Condensers, Condenser Returns
Cooling towers
Softeners
Humidifiers
Hydraulics

Hours of work

Monday Friday 08.00 am – 17.00 pm with the potential to move on to a 4 on 4 off 8-8 shift pattern down the line 

Requirements :

• Mechanical NVQ or HVAC qualifications
• Level 2 NVQ in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration
• F - Gas 2079 (Not essential)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Experience with working with VRVs, Slit units, Chillers and AHUS
• Not necessary but advantages would also be having experience with wet systems, radiators, boilers and pipework diagnostic and repairs.
