Charge Nurse

A great new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Charge Nurse to work in an exceptional brain injury rehabilitation service based in the Ardleigh, Colchester area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers



This service specialises in the assessment, care and treatment of adult residents (18+ years) with an acquired brain injury

As a Charge Nurse your key duties include:



  • Support the implementation of local Clinical Governance Strategy

  • Clear application of clinical experience

  • Satisfactory completion of objectives as agreed at appraisal and monthly supervision

  • Satisfactory fulfilment of core competencies

  • Demonstrates clear application of continuing professional development portfolio

  • Clear application of hospital policies and procedures

  • Demonstrates positive contribution to senior nurses group

  • Facilitates delivery of practice and support supervision

  • Actively contributes to the Nursing Service Agreement, departmental Risk Matrix and action plan, monitoring their implementation

The successful Charge Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £37,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
