Data Centre Shift Engineer

Shift Engineer (Continental, Days & Nights) – FM Service Provider – Data Centre – Essex/Hertfordshire - £47,500 - £51,000 after probation

CBW is currently recruiting for two shift engineers to be based in a data centre on the Essex – Hertfordshire border.

The successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically biased (C&G, 18th Edition) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, with experience working in a data centre.

Working with the maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out electrical and mechanical planned and reactive maintenance to the following.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £51,000, further training, overtime and career progression.

Duties

• Electrical - Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast, Control panel, Power distribution)
• Generators
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Emergency lighting
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Chillers - Re-set
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e.
  
  Hot & Colds)
• UPS Systems - Monitor / Take readings

• Continental Shift - 4 nights, 4off, 3 days, 3 nights, 6off, 4 days - 07:00am - 19:00pm / 19:00am - 07:00am
