Senior Security Contracts Manager - FM Service Provider - Healthcare Contract - Bristol (BS10) - 6 Month FTC - £50,000 per annum 

Exciting opportunity to work for a Leading FM Service provider situated in Bristol.

CBW is currently recruiting for a Senior Security Contracts Manager.

He or she will be responsible for managing the delivery of security services on a high profile healthcare contract in Bristol.

Through your security team, you’ll provide the focus, direction and leadership required to ensure that security services are delivered to the highest of standards and in line with our client’s specifications.

This appointment will initially be for a 6-month fixed term contract with a possibility of the placement being extended or offered on a full time basis and the salary on offer is between £45,000 to £50,000 based on experience/qualifications.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• To assist Facilities Services in ensuring implementation of the Security Policy
• The Senior Security Management Specialist is responsible for developing and reviewing an organisation wide security plan covering premises, assets and people.
• To give advice to the Trust Board, Divisions, Managers and individuals on all security-related matters.
• The Senior Security Manager is responsible for the effective implementation of all security procedures.
• To assist Managers in the investigation of serious breaches of security and to provide advice regarding improvements to security.
• To provide crime prevention advice.
• Provide first point of contact for all visitors to Security
• Take and record minutes of meetings between the Security Manager and third party when requested to do so
• Ensuring that messages are relayed in an efficient and timely manner
• Typing of statements for Security Manager as and when required
• Attendance at meetings with clients for new projects, car parking forum meetings.
• Telephone queries, staff queries with regards to parking permits etc.
• Involvement in new doctors intake, issuing of ID badges, permits and general admin
• Ensure all security staff are carrying out their duties in accordance with Trust requirements
• To maintain good and harmonious relations with the company and client, ensuring all company issues are dealt with directly by the company through its procedures, without involving clients, causing any compromise to the contract or relations between the FM company and the client.
• Ensuring regular job chats, site Quality Safety Visits and toolbox talks are completed with the staff.
• To be the first point of contact for all daily issues, this means phones must be on 24/7 and time needs to be well managed.  

• SIA Licence essential
• Experience of working in a busy environment & ability to be flexible in approach to working times to meet with the needs of the business.
• Reporting & Administration experience
• Previous Experience running a security department
• IT Literate
• Excellent communication skills, of both written and verbal English
• Ability to communicate with staff at all levels
• Ability to remain calm under pressure
