Speciality Doctor

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Speciality Doctor to work in an exceptional hospital service based in the Willenhall area.

As a Specialty Doctor your key responsibilities include:



  • Thorough assessment of individuals needs throughout admission

  • Person centred collaborative treatment plans

  • A range of interventions available from a diverse MDT

  • Being cared for in the least restrictive environment

  • Work closely with the Consultant Psychiatrists and the large multi-disciplinary team and be committed to providing quality patient focussed care

  • Comprehensive risk assessment and mental state examinations and competent physical health examinations and management



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • To join us, you must hold an MBBS qualification or equivalent and will be required to maintain full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC)

  • Experience of working in inpatient settings of people with significant mental health difficulties

  • Good team player who must be keen to participate in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation and management plans



The successful Specialty Doctor will receive an excellent annual salary up to £70,000 per annum DOE.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
