As an Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include:
- Provide consultation and assistance to the lead consultant regarding the therapeutic programme on the unit
- Engage the patients on the unit in helpful, therapeutic and meaningful activity.
- Manage and co-ordinate individual treatment plans for occupational therapy and activities
- Provide 1:1 OT assessment and treatment
- Develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues ensuring clinical practice is in line with Priory policies and procedures and complies with statutory regulations and quality standards specifically regarding risk assessment
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Experience gained within a related clinical or therapeutic environment
- Experience managing a caseload of service users with complex needs
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to show a can-do attitude always
The successful Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent annual salary of £26,500 - £36,000 per annum DOE.
This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
