Temporary Facilities Manager

Temporary Facilities Manager - Bedford/Luton/London - FM Service Provider (Soft Services) - £45,000 - £55,000 per annum 
 
CBW are currently recruiting for a Contract Managed based in Bedford, Luton & London to supervise a cleaning and catering team over 30 contracts.

To lead a team of employees to provide a fully integrated service to the contract, managing all operational teams employed to empire efficient and effective service provisions in line with agreed budgets and service specifications. 
 
The successful candidate will have a flexible approach & experience in FM Administration.

The client would look at a Contract Support Manager looking for the new stages in their career. 
 
Hours of work: 
 
The incumbent will be required to adopt a flexible approach to working hours as and when required in the full performance of duties, including being on-call as and when required to respond to the client out of normal working hours.

 
08:00am - 17:00pm - Monday - Friday - Occasionally working weekends
 
Responsibilities: 

  • First point of contact 
  • Responsibility for ensuring due compliance to the contract specification 
  • Account management responsibility to develop contract operations 
  • Ensure that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to, referring conflicts to the client where necessary
  • Manage the delivery of all agreed remedial / emergency and planned works to ensure the building offers a safe environment for all users
  • Maintain and monitor agreed qualify systems, ensuring preventative and remedial actions are taken where necessary laid down in contract specification 
  • Ensure that the work schedules are regularly reviewed to ensure best value for money and efficient delivery of services to our client requirements 
  • Monitor customer feedback and response to customers comments 
  • Monitor and report on financial performance and quality of service delivery
  • Take responsibility of cost control of all services and promote methods to maximise profitability and reduce costs without compromising Health & Safety, service and quality 
  • Ensure that working practices on the contract are reviewed regularly by utilisation of most efficient working methods, minimising cost, to ensure the company maintain and improves on budget with no KPI penalties 
  • Ensure best purchasing practice using the company nominated suppliers 
  • Ensure all labour, sundry and overhead costs are managed to within budget 

Temporary - 6 months Contract 
Free parking on site 
The successful candidate will also have a standard DBS or allow the company to put them through one
Car allowance or Company Car 
 
Experience: 
  • Minimum of 4 years in a healthcare catering and cleaning/hotel services environment
  • Proven background in delivering a range of catering and cleaning/hotel services or experience as a Contract Support Manager 
  • Business development, retention and championing new and up to date initiatives are keys to success in this role 
  • Must have experience of full budgetary to include complex fixed price of nil subsidy contracts
  • Excellent PC skills to include Outlook, Word and Excel.
  • Experience of using software for business functions such as payroll, absence management, time and attendance and HSQE management.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate with clients and stakeholders.
