Positive Support Coordinator

A brilliant new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Positive Support Coordinator to work in an exceptional care home based in the Basingstoke, Hampshire area (visiting multi sites may be required).

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers



This service offers a home to young adults who are supported to live their life the way they choose



As the Positive Support Coordinator your key duties include:



  • Promoting the use of POSITIVE APPROACHES, primarily PROACT-SCIPr-UK®, PBS

  • Ensuring that teams act according to these principles

  • Developing and implementing, directly and through the teams, personalised activity schedules, support plans, learning plans

  • Monitoring the success of the plans through observation, assessment and analysis of data collected by support teams

  • Preparing detailed and evidence-based reports for internal and external purposes



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Experience of supporting people with a learning disability/ autism or similar, and experience of working with people who exhibit challenging behaviour

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to meet the needs of co-worker teams and service users

  • Ability to collect and analyse data in order to develop, implement and review individual support plans or similar processes



The successful Positive Support Coordinator will receive an excellent salary of £25,000 per annum.

We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available from Monday-Friday.
