Ward Nurse

An excellent new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Ward Nurse to work in a exceptional hospital based in the Gravesend, Kent area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This hospital provides many services and works as a walk-in centre for patients who have an urgent but not life threatening illness or injury

*To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD with a current active NMC Pin

As the Ward Nurse you key duties include:

• Maintain a high standard of patient focused care


• Maintain a safe and clean working environment


• Provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for patients, ensuring accurate written records are kept


• Communicate with patients and carers to ensure they have access to appropriate information


• Promote and maintain positive relationships between all staff involved in the care of the patient


• Act in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Use your strong communication and organisation skills, along with a flexible approach


• Able to deliver positive experiences to patients at every stage of their healthcare journey


• Be passionate about the rehabilitation of patients in your care and be encouraging them to aid their ability for independent living


• You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e.
  
  Outlook, Word, and Excel


• Able to show a can-do attitude always

The successful Ward Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £27,055 - £32,934 per annum.
