Divisional Support Manager

An outstanding new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Divisional Support Manager to join a dynamic team and support the divisional director in ensuring the care homes deliver the highest possible standards of care and service

Working alongside the HR Advisor and Learning and Development Advisor, you will also support the registered managers with the day-to-day running and development of the home.

You will be covering care homes in London, Milton Keynes, Watford, Birmingham and Leamington Spa


*To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or hold a Registered Managers Award



As the Divisional Support Manager your key responsibilities include:

  • Deputise for the Divisional Director where necessary, including attending board meetings

  • Support the Divisional Director in achieving pre-agreed quality and business targets and KPIs

  • Coordinating and delivering professional support to a growing portfolio of the company registered services

  • Supporting the registered managers with the day-to-day running and development of their home, you will also contribute immensely to the successful integration and mobilisation of new homes within the division

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

  • Substantial experience of working within the Regulatory Framework relevant to Residential Care Homes

  • Proven track record of meeting service standards and targets

  • Experience of financial management, budget setting, monitoring and determining corrective action

  • Experience of delivering against strategic and business plans in relation to care delivery services

  • Robust experience of managing professional staff e.g.

    HR, Learning & Development and Property, including the setting of team objectives appraisal

  • Working knowledge of Legislation and the Regulatory Framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people

The successful Divisional Support Manager will receive and excellent salary of £58,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working through Days.
