Digital Delivery Manager
About You
Do you want to be responsible for the delivery of key aspects of our Digital, Fit for the Future and development programmes, whilst working with technical delivery leads to improve and embed DevOps culture and maturity?
You will have extensive experience of managing and leading delivery, collaborating with business representatives and Digital leads to prioritise product transformation requirements.
You will define and manage a sustainable and supportable backlog of development work, whilst also helping support the delivery of complex Digital projects.
You will be highly proficient in various delivery and project management tools and techniques, advising on their use, and building a Community of best practice around them to maintain plans, track delivery and ensure actions, costs, decisions and risks are managed and recorded appropriately.
You will have excellent interpersonal and managerial skills, an ability to manage team resources and set priorities effectively.
You will apply your experience and emotional intelligence to support and mentor team members, creating a high performing team and delivery culture.
You will have extensive experience of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), and have experience of the two main types: ‘Agile’ (iterative) and ‘Waterfall’ (linear).
You will be an excellent communicator, and have considerable experience in identifying, analysing and managing stakeholders.

About The Role
Working with the Digital Management team, technical delivery leads and the Corporate Programme Office You will pro-actively lead delivery of key aspects of the digital programme, providing leadership and governance in the discipline of digital delivery.
As Delivery Manager you will be highly adaptable in your approach, able to identify and apply the most appropriate delivery methodology, leading an Agile Scrum team, working closely with Developers and QA specialists or in more traditional project teams, supporting or project managing delivery within defined governance structures.
You will work to seek out, develop and embed appropriate Agile and project management delivery methodologies, skills, processes, tools and discipline within the Digital team and wider Authority, ensuring successful delivery of complex business solutions.
You will manage delivery of the work backlog, projects and lead delivery teams, setting objectives, managing project performance, and providing support and mentoring to enable them to ensure successful delivery.
You will support an Authority wide learning culture that captures and reports on lessons learned to support and improve future decision making in the delivery of business and digital projects.
This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in business change projects that will transform our organisation, and help to make a better future for people and the environment in mining areas.
Role location: Activity Based (typically one or two days in the office per week)
