Insurance Broker to respond to customer enquiries and advise on all our clients products and services, procure and issue policies and renewals in accordance with current guidelines and take payments.

As an Insurance Broker you will deliver reports to management as set by the Head of the Department.

The client has multiple bases internationally.

What You Will Be Doing

• 
  

  Assist in devising a business plan and objectives to deliver Group wide objectives.

  
  


• 
  

  Liaise with clients and all other stakeholders regarding clients' insurance needs or clients' claims.

  
  


• 
  

  Input data into the software system and maintain timely, accurate reporting.

  
  


• 
  

  Procure documentation from relevant policy providers and issue subsequent new policies and renewals within the established documented procedures.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform any other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive, senior management or the core team.

  
  


• 
  

  Supervise the Broking Administrator.
  
  Be responsible for performance management, training and development.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify and convert new business sales opportunities.

  
  


• 
  

  Contact existing policy holders to review current needs and identify opportunities for cross selling.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify new market opportunities for the client e.g.
  
  schemes, new products etc.

  
  


• 
  

  Network and maintain a high profile in the local business community.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and maintain business relationship with business unit heads, staff and external vendors.

  
  


• 
  

  Study and develop professional skills and qualifications to highest level
