Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in South West London.

CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a commercial building located near Putney.

The successful candidate will be mechanically biased (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with a small maintenance team on site, He or she will be required to carry out mechanical, electrical and fabric PPM & reactive maintenance.

Hours of work

Monday to Friday - 08:00 - 17:00

Requirements

• City & Guilds / NVQ in Mechanical
• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Excellent customer skills

• Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing
  
  
• AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans
  
  
• Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)
  
  
• Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)
  
  
• Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing
  
  
• Water pressurization units
  
  
• Chlorifiers – annual inspection, de-scaling
  
  
• Steam Plant
  
  
• Condensers, Condenser Returns
  
  
• Cooling towers
  
  
• Softeners
  
  
• Humidifiers
  
  
• Hydraulics
  
  
• Pneumatics
  
  
• Boilers – re-sets
  
  
• Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faults
