Team Leader

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Team Leader to work in an exceptional residential care service based in the Colchester, Essex area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers



This is specialist residential care in a community setting for adults who have learning disabilities, autism, mental health issues, Prada Willi Syndrome, behaviors that challenge and associated health issues

As the Team Leader your key duties include:



  • To assist the Manager, Deputy Manager of the Service, working as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Provide a professional, high quality service that enables our residents to achieve their aspirations and goals through empowerment and putting the service user at the centre of all we do, ensuring safety at all times

  • Ensure own actions and behaviour and through the effective supervision of Support Workers, the service complies with corporate policy and local procedures, statutory regulations and quality standards



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Knowledge and understating of supporting individuals with Learning disabilities and associated needs

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent Computer based skills

  • Ability to produce care and support plans and risk assessment independently



The successful Team Leader will receive an excellent salary of £12.25 per hour and the annual salary is £23,887.50 per annum.
