Scrub Nurse/ODP

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Scrub Nurse/ODP to work in an exceptional hospital based in the South West of London area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers



This service is one of the leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare.

The hospital also provides private hospital treatments including full diagnostic and endoscopy procedures, orthopaedic surgery including spinal treatment, varicose vein treatment, hernia surgery, vasectomy and cosmetic surgery

As a Scrub Nurse/ODP your key duties include:



  • To act with the upmost professionalism and to adhere to the NMC / HCPC code of conduct

  • Monitor and assist in the delivery of patient care

  • Respect the patient's dignity, privacy, wishes and beliefs

  • A ‘hands on' role within the theatre suite

  • Encourage, develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of others and self

  • Promote best evidence-based practice

  • Apply and ensure others comply with legislation, policies and procedures

  • Support the anaesthetic and recovery phases of the operating journey



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Experience of working within Scrub

  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character​​​​​​​

  • The ability to make decisions and use your initiative

  • Strong communication skills

  • Passion to deliver excellent care in a rewarding and what can be emotionally challenging environment

  • A flexible and positive attitude



The successful Scrub Nurse/ODP will receive an excellent salary up to £40,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
