Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Northampton
Salary Range: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

My client currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team in Northampton.

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in promoting and ensuring the continual improvement of design quality, reliability, manufacturability, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide guidance and support to the QA network to achieve compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and daily operational activities.
Collaborate with engineering teams to provide early QA input into design processes, including reliability work, Design and Process FAIR, FMEA support, product transfer, PPAP, and regulatory requirements.
Represent QA as part of the product development team, focusing on UKEC Design site QA requirements.
Review and approve all documentation to ensure compliance with quality requirements, specifications, and company standards.
Assist in generating TCF (Technical Change Forms).
Act as the liaison between Curtis' manufacturing sites on all quality-related matters.
Maintain a closed-loop Corrective/Preventive Action system, analyzing root cause analysis and corrective action reports.
Coordinate the establishment of quality systems that conform to ISO-9001-2015 requirements.
Develop internal and external audit plans in compliance with ISO-9001-2015.
Conduct audits of internal departments and external vendors to ensure conformity to required standards.
Provide feedback and necessary support to correct any findings from audits.
Serve as the liaison between Corporate Quality Assurance and the assigned location.

Requirements:

Technical degree preferably in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
Experience in ISO auditing, particularly ISO 9001:2015 and/or ISO 14001:2015.
Lean Six Sigma experience is highly desirable.
3-5 years of broad technical experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Quality Engineering.
Proficiency in Design and Process FMEA and PPAP studies.
Background in reliability engineering during product development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with design engineering and manufacturing teams.
Solid knowledge of statistical analysis and a firm understanding of reliability work.
Proficiency in database and spreadsheet software, particularly Access and Excel.

My client are offering a competitive salary within the range of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience and qualifications.
