Deputy Manager : Residential Respite

Contract – 36 hours including weekends and occasional nights

Location – Russell House 14 Hortham Lane, Almondsbury, South Gloucestershire, BS32 4JH

Salary – from £25,860 depending on experience

Education/Qualifications -A qualification relevant to working with children NVQ 3 or above.

An EXCEPTIONAL opportunity is available for a Deputy Manager to deliver the day to day running and planning of Russell House, ensuring that both Ofsted standards and commissioner expectations are adhered to.

You will become a key member of the management team for an established and well-respected Charity who has a great reputation within the sector.

You will report to the Registered Manager and work with a fantastic team of highly motivated individuals who love what they do.



The Role

To offer inspiration, leadership, managerial guidance, direction and support to the team at all levels
To ensure that Children or Young People in our care are encouraged to participate as fully as possible in activities and decisions affecting their lives, acting as a keyworker where appropriate.
Safeguard all young people and colleagues
Mentor, develop and supervise team
Model and practice high quality and person centred care
Cover rota gaps
Make certain all the team adhere to KIDS policies and procedures and relevant external legislation
Ensure the service meets and exceeds the standards and expectations Of Ofsted Childrens Home regulations .
Oversee the running of the home in the Registered Managers absence
