My client is a main dealer in Basingstoke who are currently seeking a talented and experienced Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team.

Position: Vehicle Technician
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Responsibilities:

Conducting routine vehicle maintenance and servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
Diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
Performing complex mechanical and electrical repairs on a range of vehicles
Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and identifying potential issues
Collaborating with colleagues and providing exceptional customer service
Completing accurate service records and documentation

Requirements:

Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent)
Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealer or reputable garage
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship
Strong communication and customer service skills
A valid UK driving license
