Registered Nurse
An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Registered Nurse to work in an exceptional care home based in the Bungay, Suffolk area.

As a Nurse your key duties include:
- Take responsibility for the nursing provision within the establishment
- Provide a high standard of direct nursing to residents based on the assessment of care needs and in consultation with the residents, their relatives, other health professionals and the care team
- Ensure appropriate documentation is completed, reviewed and up to date including care plans, risk assessments and other associated and relevant documentation
- Carry out regular auditing of medication and to lead on taking action following these audits, working alongside the nominated medication lead
- Liaise with residents GP's and other health care professionals involved in the residents care such as Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, and Community Nurses etc.
- Work within the NMC codes of conduct and Scope of Practice and within company policies and procedures
- Work closely with other members of the care team, ensuring that effective, high quality care is given to achieve agreed goals and aspirations
- To provide any additional support to the Manager or Deputy Manager as required
The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:
- Experience of working with older people including people living with dementia
- Experience in participating in quality and clinical governance programmes
- Ability to explain treatments and conditions to people who have communication difficulties
- Confidence in working in a pressurised setting and ability to prioritise and multitask
- People management experience
- Good working knowledge of key regulatory frameworks
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £20.00 per hour and the annual salary is up to £45,760 per annum.
