As the Urgent Care Centre Doctor your key responsibilities include:



  • Maintain a personal professional profile

  • Adhere to GMC code of practice and ethics

  • Support the team in achieving objectives of the department

  • Participate in personal development planning and access training as appropriate or deemed necessary/mandatory by the hospital to improve service provision.

  • Demonstrate a high standard of clinical skills

  • Support Casualty First manager by participating in team building and development

  • Deputise for the clinical lead in his absence

  • Document an accurate and methodical account of the client's journey and use departmental electronic records resources appropriately

  • Ensure the efficient medical management of casualty cases

  • Treat patients in a courteous and professional manner at all times



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • General Practice/minor illness

  • A & E experience

  • Ongoing training and commitment to development

  • Evidence of CPD

  • Minimum of 2 years post graduation experience



The successful Doctor will receive an excellent salary of £86,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role for 40 hours a week working through Days.
