Theatre Scrub Nurse/ODP - Ophthalmology

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Theatre Scrub Nurse/ODP - Ophthalmology to work in an exceptional private hospital based in the Banbury, Oxfordshire area.

Your key duties include:



  • Provide Scrub/ODP assistance and experience for clinical procedures.

  • Assist the consultant and clinical team in the delivery of all ophthalmic care

  • Manage all the theatre equipment daily

  • Admission and discharge of patients on theatre days

  • Adhere to the principles of clinical governance and NMC or HCPC guidelines



The following skills and experience preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Previous theatre experience within Ophthalmology

  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business

  • A passion for delivering an excellent patient-focus service

  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail

  • Sound written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required



The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary of £29,500 - £36,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
