Senior C# Data Developer

Founded in 2005, our client is a dynamic data solutions company dedicated to helping organisations solve complex business challenges.

Combining data solutions with delivery capabilities and tailored approach, they work with clients across the Water, Energy, Telecoms, Financial Services and Housing sectors to achieve a common goal.

As a Senior C# .Net Developer, you will be involved in shaping the technical direction of products by influencing the design and architecture of these solutions, as well as building the next generation of these products and enhancing the existing ones.

You will assume responsibility of upgrading existing products, migrating away from traditional database (Microsoft SQL) and ETL (Talend) platforms to .net C# and Databricks.

Education, Training & Experience:

•   A thorough and detailed knowledge of C#.
•   Experience of MS SQL along with other database platforms
•   An understanding of writing high performance data centric procedures and functions
•   Experience in Data Engineering/Data Science
•   Any experience in Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kubernetes would be advantageous
•   Strong experience designing data architecture
•   Any experience in cloud-based environments, specifically AWS is an advantage
