Water Technician

Water Technician - Facilities Company - West Lothian - Salary £23,000 - £27,000 PA plus company van and excellent company benefits 

CBW have a new opportunity for a Water Technician to join a growing business.  You should have relevant experience within the water industry within testing and maintenance.  This is a great facilities company that like to promote within and develop their employees.  

Hours of work:

Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00 

Duties & Responsibilities : 

• To carry out the following works in accordance with the requirements of ACOP L8, BS6700 and the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations:-
•  Hot and cold water temperature monitoring
• Shower head cleans and disinfections
• Calorifier base flushing/calorifier temperatures, including flow and return
• Calorifier internal inspections
• Water sampling
• Tank and down water services disinfections/chlorination
• TMV Testing
•  Cooling tower clean and disinfections
• Drawing of water systems schematics and the preparation and completion of job sheets
• Improvements/upgrading of domestic systems to fall within A.C.O.P L8 guidelines
• Participate in the on call rota
