Ward Manager

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Ward Manager to work in a brand new CAMHS service based in the Waterlooville, Havant area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers



A brand new service which provides a CAMHS Tier 4 eating disorder service for young people up to 18 years with a primary diagnosis of eating disorder: or an eating difficulty with a co-morbid presentation for example mental health or psychological issues, such as depression, OCD or anxiety or self-harm

*To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an RMN Nurse with a current active NMC Pin

As the Ward Manager your key responsibilities include:



  • Supporting the implementation of local Clinical Governance Strategy

  • Satisfactory fulfilment of core competencies

  • Providing strong and robust leadership in the clinical environment using the core skills of facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, teaching and delegation

  • Facilitates delivery of practice and support supervision

  • Manage the achievements and maintenance of the Care Standards Act



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Experience working in a similar environment

  • Experience as a Senior Nurse

  • Relevant sufficient post-registration experience

  • Bring together a new team to work cohesively under the guidance of your expert managerial experience

  • Be responsible for overseeing ward budgets, clinical and nursing audits, the on-call service and will ensure procedures are being adhered to as you support people to build a brighter future



The successful Ward Manager will receive an excellent salary up to £50,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
