Group Finance Manager (part-time)

The Role

Reporting into the Head of Business Support with a dotted line of reporting to the CFO, the primary objectives of the Group Finance Manager role are to lead the finance team to deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting to the Senior Management Team (SMT) for Projective Ltd and its subsidiaries.

As part of this, a crucial step will be to update and implement financial controls and processes that are suitable for the business.

This role would be offered on a part-time working basis, expected between 24-35 hours a week.

The Group Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing a number of tasks, not limited to, but including:

, Implement financial processes to suit company operations across multiple countries and currencies.
, Manage day-to-day accounting operations to ensure financial records are properly maintained, up to date and prepared in accordance with UK accounting guidelines.
, Partner with Project and Program Managers to review and challenge project performance.
, Preparation of month-end reporting for the SMT including commentary on variances to budget / forecast.
, Preparation of annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
, Management of cashflow requirements.
, Preparation of weekly and monthly KPI report.
, Supervise and manage all finance team members and following company performance procedures.
, Support the business with the financial strategy and decision-making process.
, Liaise with the Company's statutory accountants to ensure completion of year-end statutory accounts and tax filing requirements.
, Responsible for coordinating monthly payroll process and submission to the payroll provider.
, Responsible for all completion of, and all correspondence with HMRC requirements including VAT Return, PAYE filings and Corporation tax and also being the main point of contact for all correspondence with HMRC.

Education / Qualifications:

, 10+ years of demonstrable experience of working in an equivalent role in accountancy.
, Expertise of financial accounting software such as Sage, Access Dimensions or Xero.
, Ideally holds an internationally recognised accounting qualification.
