Application Support Analyst, E-Business Suite - HR/Payroll

Application Support Analyst, Oracle E-Business Suite - HR/Payroll, Motherwell, Scotland, £45-55K + £5,400 Car Allowance + 10% bonus + bens.

Ideally you will have experience of Oracle EBS (E-Business Suite R12), supporting HR/Payroll applications and Oracle Support to track, manage and resolve issues.

The role:

As an Application Support Analyst you will be responsible for providing support activities for HR/Payroll applications to ensure that the service meets the agreed service levels

Responsibilties:

, Provides effective applications support across the enterprise ensuring any software incidents are quickly identified, prioritised, assigned and resolved to ensure the service provided is in line with the required SLAs and business needs
, Ensures appropriate communication is provided to relevant stakeholders on incident progress
, Maintains the Applications within designated area:
, Ensures applications remain compliant to regulations, etc.
, Ensures that any key maintenance patches / upgrades are appropriately scheduled
, Provide effective applications management and guidance to the business (within designated area) to ensure best usage of their applications
, Works with the business to identify how applications could be maximised, e.g.

extended their use through configuration or even development of the applications
, Proactively provides recommendations to current ways of working within Business Systems (to better align to the latest industry best practice).

Also, supports the implementation and embedding of any changes to current processes
, Documents key processes within area of responsibility in a clear and concise way

Your background / experience:

, Experience of providing Oracle E-Business Suite support (R12) and with the resolution of incidents, problems and requests in a support environment.
, Experience with Oracle Support to track, manage and resolve issues
, Experience of managing escalations and handling stakeholder communications.
, Experience of being able to balance multiple priorities and workloads both strategically and short-term
, Strong experience with HR/Payroll applications and how they support specific business functions and provide commercial benefits
, Experience of identifying and embedding industry best practice into current ways of working
, Focused on achieving results

This Application Support Analyst, Oracle E-Business Suite - HR/Payroll role is a hybrid position based in Motherwell, Scotland (up to 3 days a week in the office but is flexible) and pays c£45-55K base + £5,400 Car Allowance + 10% bonus + bens.
