Head/Specialist Occupational Therapist - Band 6

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Head/Specialist Occupational Therapist - Band 6 to work in an exceptional private mental hospital based in the Bradford, West Yorkshire area.

This is a private mental health hospital which provides a comprehensive pathway of acute admissions services for men

*To be considered for this position you must be qualified as an Occupational Therapist and hold a registration with the HCPC

As Head/Specialist Occupational Therapist your key responsibilities include:

• Working as part of a multidisciplinary team


• Completing occupational therapy assessments


• Managing and prioritising a caseload of adults with mental health needs


• Providing leadership and management for the occupational therapy services across the 5 wards

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Experienced in the field of mental health


• An understanding of Occupational Therapy process/interventions and can take a “hands on” approach


• Excellent communication and time management skills


• Passionate about supporting others

The successful Health/Specialist Occupational Therapist will receive an excellent salary of £33,000 - £38,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Fixed Term Contract for 40 hours a week from 9-12 months.
