Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor - FM Service Provider – Blue chip contract in Central London - Up to £55,000

CBW are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all hard services across a commercial building located in Central London, close to the Liverpool Street area. 

The successful candidate will come from a technical maintenance background, ideally electrically qualified and will have experience in the overall day to day management of  commercial buildings. 

In return the company is offering a competitive salary/package paying up to £55,000 based on experience with further training and career progression on offer.

Key duties & responsibilities

  • Report directly to the Account Manager.

  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA's.

  • Responsible for managing the company's H&S and environmental performance on the contract.

  • Plan and implement building shutdowns and client project works.

  • Managing team of three engineers and be responsible for recruitment of any new staff.

  • Responsible for the development of all staff, which will include annual appraisals.

  • Manage staff absenteeism and be responsible for disciplinary issues.

  • Management of client relationships on a daily basis.

  • Management of all reports.

  • Manage any additional business opportunities that will deliver client satisfaction and increase contract sales revenue.

  • Offer technical support to both the client and the engineering team.

  • Responsible for the permit system.

  • Attend client meetings.

    Hours of work - Monday to Friday - 08:00am to 17:00pm

Requirements:

  • Qualified in an engineering discipline (Electrical or Mechanical); C&G, HNC, HND or higher.

  • Understanding of building management and maintenance systems.

  • Strong technical engineering understanding.

  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance

  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.

  • Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
