The Role

In House Legal Counsel required to form part of a growing team in Gibraltar.

SRG are looking for a UK Qualified lawyer with previous corporate and commercial experience.

These criteria are essential.

You will be ambitious, have excellent communication skills and be used to working to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Some experience of Online Gaming is ideal but not essential for the In House Legal Counsel role.

The position reports to the Senior Legal Counsel and the CEO daily.

If you have 4 years plus PQE, with strong contract drafting and communication skills and are looking to take the next step in your career then this could be the In House Legal Counsel role for you.

What You Will Be Doing

• 
  

  Supporting the client's legal team across all Group company legal functions

  
  


• 
  

  Support the corporate team with governance and corporate administration functions

  
  


• 
  

  Support the compliance and regulatory requirements for the multiple entities owned by the client Group

  
  


• 
  

  Draft, update, review and optimize all day-to-day agreements including labour, consulting, client and supplier agreements

  
  


• 
  

  Assist with the management of dispute resolutions issues

  
  


• 
  

  Support the legal team with any ad-hoc tasks as required

  
  

What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role

• 
  

  Qualified UK lawyer with approximately 4-8 years PQE

  
  


• 
  

  A knowledgeable, ambitious and inquisitive conscientious problem solver

  
  


• 
  

  Self-starting and motivated person with attention to all the details

  
  


• 
  

  Excellent interpersonal skills

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communicator at all levels and with ability to distil complex concepts into concise and clear explanations

  
  


• 
  

  Comprehensive drafting skills and experience with commercial agreements

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to deliver work to tight deadlines

  
  


• 
  

  Adaptability and ability to cope with a fast pace of work and a wide range of tasks

  
  


• 
  

  Previous corporate and commercial experience is essential, online gaming experience is desirable
