Nurse Deputy Home Manager

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Nurse Deputy Home Manager to help manage an exceptional care centre based in the Kidderminster, Worcestershire area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers.

The home offers a full range of care options to its residents, from nursing care to dedicated support for those living with dementia

*To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Nurse either RGN, RMN or RNLD Nurse with a valid NMC Pin

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Assessment of residents' needs, production and implementation of Care plans and accurate documentation on residents' records


• The organisation of the Home and attitude of the staff should reflect the need for residents to achieve and maintain maximum independence


• The post holder will be expected to maintain a quiet and calm atmosphere by encouragement and example whilst caring for the residents


• Helping unqualified staff with in-service training and to keep abreast of current post-registration training


• There will be some supernumerary time as the CL will be responsible for agreed delegated duties e.g.
  
  auditing, pre-assessments of potential future residents, rota management, training etc.

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• CRB Check and POVA listing


• Specialist Nursing Practices


• Gold Standard Framework for end of life Care


• Evidence of Clinical Skills & update Training


• Previous care experience with elderly care in care home setting


• An ability to implement the company's working practices


• Solid understanding of Care Quality Commission (CQC) requirement


• Excellent Communication Skills

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £46,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working through Day Shifts.
