Fabric Engineer - FM Service Provider – Commercial Building – Mayfair - £32,000 - NO CALL OUT 
 

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated on Mayfair.

CBW is currently recruiting a Fabric Engineer to look after 3 commercial buildings very close together located near Mayfair.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of most general fabric trades such as basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting etc.

Working alongside the maintenance team on site, he or she will be required to carry out all aspects of fabric planned and reactive maintenance across the site In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £32,000, overtime and further training.

This role has no call out however the candidate must work at least one weekend a month, and this will be paid in overtime.

 

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e.
  
  Hot & cold)
• Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting etc
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site
• Escort subcontractors
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.

• Monday to Friday (40-hour week)
• 08:00 am to 17:00 pm

• £32,000 (based on experience)

• A trade qualification would be highly desirable (Not essential)
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• A strong understanding of most general fabric trades such as basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting etc.
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
