Mobile Maintenance Supervisor - London & Southern Home Counties - Commercial Portfolio - Up to £45,000 per annum + Company vehicle

One of our key clients has an exciting opportunity to join their mobile services team and cover a number of commercial buildings in and around London and the Southern Home Counties.

The sites cover from Brighton to London and from Guildford to Ashford.

The successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically qualified with a proven track record in building maintenance and will be splitting their time between supervising a small team of 3 and carrying out hands-on maintenance.

In return the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £45,000, overtime, further training and career progression

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Report directly into the Contract Manager

  • Assist the Contract Manager in with the "day to day" running of the contract

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations across all technical areas of expertise by completion of internal audits and involvement in external audits to support and develop an ethos of Continuous Improvement.

    In conjunction with the Contract Administrators monitor client statutory compliance tracker to ensure continued compliance.

  • Assist in the management of all maintenance staff on the contracts

  • Ensure completion of PPM, reactive and quoted work within SLA through utilisation of CAFM systems.

  • Compile and review site Asset Condition Reports, for innovation, longevity of plant and integrate with Critical Spares Lists

  • Complete tool box talks and routine monthly meetings with all Engineers in team as prescribed by the H&S department

  • Produce quotes for any small works required on site.

    Deal with tender returns for small to medium sized project works escalating to the Account Manager and Project Manager as appropriate

  • Manage agreed KPI and SLA's alongside the Contract Manager

  • Arrange specialist sub-contractors

  • Management of all reports/site log books

  • Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits

  • Manage a mobile team of 3 engineers

Hours of Work

  • Monday to Friday (40 hour week)

  • 08:00am to 17:00pm

Requirements

  • Electrically or Mechanically qualified

  • C&G / NVQ Level 2&3 - Essential

  • C&G 18th Edition

  • You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates

  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance

  • Experience of service delivery across commercial sites

  • Supervisory experience

  • Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing with all levels of staff and clients.

  • Ability to manage and prioritise a demanding and varying workload

  • Attend client meetings if required

  • Full UK driving license
