Engineering Manager

Engineering Manager - Multi-disciplinary Engineering / Construction Company - Glasgow - 50-55K 

A new opportunity for an experienced Engineering Manager to oversee the companies engineering and inspections services with having overall responsibility of the quality of service delivered.  Your background will be LEEA accreditation or come from a lifting, Mechanical Hydraulic Engineering background.  This position is going to be mainly office / workshop based but occasional site travel will be required. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide engineering support to all divisions and ensure engineering services are meet with high expectations 
• Provide assistance to engineering technicians remotely or on site
• Responsible for all Risk Assessment Method Statement associated to the works carried out
• Maintenance and up keep of company wide engineering protocols
• Upkeep of company management systems including company asset register
• Maintain company calibration registration and equipment
• Maintain and deliver training courses to the engineers 

• Minimum HND in Mechanical/ Electrical field
• Hydraulic, mechanical/ electrical and lifting experience
• Knowledge of Statutory Examination and Regulations relating to LOLLER, PUWER and PSSR
• Experienced in management of field engineers/ service technicians 
• Ability to plan and organise logistical resources
• Have a good understanding of ISO audit processes and QA
• Driving license
