Senior Civil Enforcement Officer - Redbridge

The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Civil Enforcement Officer who will have responsibility for opening and closing of the base.
As a Senior Civil Enforcement Officer, you will manage a team of Civil Enforcement Officers to coach and train them to the standard required, providing any support, assistance and motivation where necessary.
You will be responsible for briefing all officers prior to deployment and ensuring they are fully aware of up-to-date client and management instructions and the conditions out on street. You will ensure all requirements and instructions from the client are met through all aspects of the Enforcement contract ensuring quality standards and contractual requirements are maintained.
What you'll do:
•You will make sure all known and agreed policies are followed setting a good example.
•You will ensure teams are aware of tasks in hand and how these tasks should be completed.
•You will ensuring all relevant training has been completed leaving staff members in a position where they are capable of completing all contract needs.
•You will compile and communicate duty rosters for staff and arrange cover for absence.
•You will ensure procedures for issuing tickets and provide training where required to maintain compliance.
•You will maintain compliance with company policies on Health & Safety.
•You will follow up on recommended adjustments to ensure customer satisfaction.
•You will report identified criminal activity in accordance with company procedures.
•You will complete relevant documentation as appropriate.
•You will monitor the appearance of all staff ensuring company uniform is always being worn.
•You will ensure that all officers are maximising their time effectively.
•You will carry out mystery visits to On and Off Street.
•You will ensure Parking Enforcement is correctly reported and recorded.
•You will ensure all faults are reported and to Line Manager regarding 1st Line Maintenance.
•You will liaise with the Operations Support Manager to recommend changes in order to avoid recurring problems.
•You will maintain good communications and consult regularly with the Operations.
•You will support Managers and Officers, seeking assistance and agreeing on actions to resolve outstanding issues.
•You will hold monthly team talks with all staff and manage effective two-way communication between APCOA and its staff.
•You will adopt a one team approach.
•You will train and develop all staff.
•You will assist the Operations Support Manager with recruitment, selection, and management of all potential staff.
•You will induct new officers, train, and develop them to be capable of performing to the standard expected by the Company and the Client.
•You will deputise for the Operations Support Manager in their absence.
•You will adhere to Health and Safety requirements and best practice at all times.
What you'll bring:
•Proven leadership and managerial experience in a supervisory role.
•Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
•Numerate and literate.
•Customer service skills.
•Computer literate particularly in MS word, excel and outlook.
•An excellent understanding of TMA 2004.
Working hours - 40 hours per week (between 07:00 and 23:15)
