Food Service Assistant

DBS Food Service Assistant Needed –  Edinburgh Old Town  – FM Service Provider - Up to £10 per hour

Exciting opportunity for a Food Service Assistant to work for an established company situated in Edinburgh Old Town.The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Food Service Assistant and will be able to work Immediately.

Hours of work & Shifts (Rota)

Start Date:25th January - ongoing till 30th April

Monday - Friday - 08:00am - 16:00pm - (8 hours a day)

Requirements

Must have Level 2 Food & Safety

Must have a DBS 

Must have till Experience   


Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular HACCP regulations
• Checking in of food deliveries ensures that only the highest standard of produce is accepted into the units.
• Ensuring that all food storage complies with food hygiene regulations and that F.I.F.O stock rotation system is being followed
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture
• Preparation of service area and/or service points
• Correct storage of food items and equipment after service
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform to company regulations at all times
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy
• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
