Applications are invited for the post of Human Resources Officer for Meadow Group Services Limited.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Group Human Resources Director.


Your main duties will be
, responsible for planning and coordination of recruitment
, monitoring the whole life cycle of an employee from interview, selection, induction, development to departure.


, supporting the managers with complex employee relations including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, and absences.


, supporting the group managers with training via the iHasco platform.


, managing the Mertrux apprenticeship scheme from recruiting to the successful completion of the qualification.


, provide reports and insight on Human Resources performance measures.


, advising on current Employment law, case law updates
, updates to policy and risk assessments as required
, internal auditor BSI ISO 9001:2015 quality standards
, managing the project work with Select HR and Chronologic Time and Attendance.
, cover for HR administration employee lifecycle activities


You must be able to prioritise workloads and work calmly and efficiently under pressure.

You will be involved in all areas of the business group-wide for Human Resource purposes and will need to understand the complexities of working with two manufacturers DAF and Mercedes Benz.


This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, diplomacy and complete confidentiality.

This role will involve travel to our group sites, Derby, Leicester, Mansfield, Nottingham, Preston, Edinburgh and Bathgate.

You need to be honest, enthusiastic, hardworking, self-motivated and respond well to challenging and changing situations.


Skills;
, Knowledge of HR systems and time and attendance would be an advantage
, A business studies or HR qualification to level 5 or higher or equivalent
, Experience of project management
, Ability to manage own diaries and meet deadlines efficiently.
, Payroll experience is desirable.


, Good verbal and written communication skills for all levels of the business
, Strong understanding of Office (Outlook, Excel)
, Able to work on own initiative and part of team
