Remote Front-End Developer

Front-End Developer required by our client a market leading FinTech.

Job Purpose
A Frontend Developer’s main role is to write JSON, LESS, HTML and JavaScript, building beautiful user interfaces for customers.

Key responsibilities
· Write quality code, and deliver excellent user experiences for our customers, with attention to detail and edge cases, keeping the end user in mind.
· Contribute to; and design solutions that dove-tail with our framework.
· Work in a multi-discipline agile team, alongside back-end specialists and full-stack developers.
General
· Single Page Application experience using JavaScript Frameworks.
· Expert CSS skills with a passion for design and a keen eye for detail.
· Interface builder with UX, accessibility and performance in mind.

Key skills
Applicants should possess a minimum of five years’ experience working in a similar role developing rich Single Page Applications communicating with back-end services and using the following technologies:
· HTML and CSS
· JavaScript:
o JavaScript Framework experience
o Has experience with or is willing to learn CoffeeScript.
o Is comfortable reading and writing JSON.
o Experience with Automated testing
