Customer Service Assistant

Customer Service Assistant - Birmingham - flexible hours (0 hour contract)  - £9.50 per hour

There is currently an opening for a Customer Service Assistant to work from our Birmingham area sites.

This role will work across Birmingham Dental Hospital and Birmingham Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.

You will be checking the car park and assisting users.

Customer service assistants are a key part of our team and are in charge for the smooth and safe running of our car parks.

You will be provided with full training.
You will be in charge of ensuring our sites continue to deliver a high standard of service.

This includes overseeing the correct use, cleanliness, and front-line maintenance of each site when present.

What you'll do:

  • You will assist the Area Manager and Site staff in ensuring the car parks are maintained and managed in line with service level agreements.
  • You will maintain clean and safe conditions inside the car park and on its approaches by car and on foot.
  • You will be in charge of providing a quality service during shift
  • You will be in charge of how the car parks are used and the equipment maintained whilst on duty.
  • You will be in charge of first line maintenance of all parking equipment whilst on duty.
  • You will have litter picking duties for of all internal and external areas – paying precise interest in the “front of house” approach routes.
  • You will enforce APCOA policies and practices well. 
  • You will show patience when dealing with people, even when faced with difficult situations.
  • You will work unsupervised outside of “normal office hours”, as per your work schedule.

  • Good communication skills
