Location: Crewe
Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £24,500 per annum
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday.

When working a Saturday you will have an additional day off midweek.


9:45 am to 6:15 pm Monday to Thursday, 9:30 am to 6:00 pm Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday


Summary of Role:

This role will mainly involve answering customer queries by phone, instant chat, and emails.


We are looking for a Customer Service Team Leader who is attentive, supportive and has a fantastic ‘can do' attitude! This is a hands-on role and you will be well supported by good management.

You will lead by example, providing respectful leadership to your team, providing exceptional standards of service to all customers in a professional manner.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
, Provide ongoing support and motivation to the customer service team
, Performance monitoring of staff, provide training as required
, Prioritise workload and support the team to deliver on daily targets
, Communicate with different departments, as required
, Respond to problems as they occur.

Resolve issues as they arise, referring to management as necessary
, Maintain an awareness of current promotions and product changes
, Mentor the team and develop up-selling and add-on techniques
, Monitor fraudulent activity, process replacement orders
, Manage customer queries and provide a fantastic customer experience
, Generate customer interest in the company's own branded products.
, Delight customers by going the extra mile.
, Offer help and support to other staff members, when needed.


Skills Required:
, A genuine passion and interest for Customer Service- a real ‘people person'
, Strong decision-making skills
, Patient, gets job satisfaction from helping others
, Experience of leading a team preferred
, 2 years of customer experience required- complaint handling experience necessary
, Naturally positive communicator- both written and verbal.

, A good level of IT skills
