CT Lead Radiographer

A fantastic new job opportunity has arisen for CT Lead Radiographer to work in an exceptional hospital based in the Chelmsford, Essex area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This hospital provides a wide range of services including Surgery, Medicine, Oncology, Plastic and Cosmetic surgery, and Paediatrics.

They are continually introducing new technology to ensure they provide the best experience for patients and support for their hard working teams and have just opened 2 additional purpose built theatres

*To be considered for this position you must be qualified Radiographer with a HCPC Registration

As the CT Lead Radiographer your key responsibilities include:

• Be professionally and legally responsible for all aspects of your own practice


• Be responsible of training new members of staff and completing all competencies


• PDR for CT Radiographers


• Maintain a work environment that you are proud of, where all radiographers work as part of the team and contribute to patient satisfaction and experience


• Organise and liaise with new and current contract health provider organisations


• Flexible approach to working hours including weekends and long days


• Management of the CT Rota


• Responsible for organising and maintaining all equipment service


• Responsible for the yearly reviews of Protocols, DRL's, Risks Assessments and SOPs

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Minimum of 7 Years' experience


• Sound knowledge of IRMER, IRR, HCPC Standards, local rules


• Knowledge of CQC standards


• Cannulation certificate


• Competent using PACS and IEP


• ILS


• Excellent Communication and Leadership skills

The successful Radiographer will receive an excellent up to £40,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a Full Time role working 37.5 hours a week.
